Uganda Raffia Square 12 inch Tote Basket, Green

Handwoven by women artisans in Uganda, each basket is uniquely handmade from the raffia fibers of the palm tree. Raffia is an environmentally friendly fiber, as it is biodegradable and almost no pesticides or fertilizers are used in its cultivation. Raffia is intricately wrapped around grass or banana leaf stalk, creating these unique baskets.
